Black Moth Super Rainbow - Moody Day

My record label of choice, GraveFace, is re-releasing my favorite Black Moth Super Rainbow album, Dandelion Gum.  If you’re a stranger to Graveface, please take note of one of the best independent labels in the country.  One man operation out of Chicago only releases superior quality deluxe vinyl, usually colored, translucent, picture-disc, animated, glow-in-the-dark, scratch & sniff…you get the idea.  Ryan Graveface is the original one man show, and some how he releases these amazingly exotic vinyls on the super inexpensive.  I was struck by a Halloween special edition by the Marshmallow Ghosts that was a glow-in-the-dark 7”, I think it was $8 and Ryan apologized for the high price even though it cost him over $7 to produce it.  That is dedication.  Graveface also suffered a recent flood and due to some bull$hi†† insurance nonsense, he lost hundreds of records from his stock.  Thankfully he’s back on his feet again.

Point being Graveface is good people, I mean person, and the deluxe re-release of Dandelion Gum surpasses all the standards.  Sporting 13 additional tracks from OOP titles, the Drippers EP and the 2006 split with The Octopus Project The House Of Apples and Eyeballs, also including 5 never before heard tracks.  The posted track, Moody Day, is one of those recently uncovered five tracks.   Unfortunately these tracks aren’t on the vinyl or cassette, but you get a download of it all.  You could always track down those two OOP titles on vinyl, Drippers EP is a blue scratch & sniff 10”.   Highly recommended, mine smells like campfire.  The Dandelion Gum re-release vinyl is on a super rad picture disc you can see above.

Score the Ltd to 1000, picture disc of Dandelion Gum for only $15 including shipping here.  Srsly Ryan you’re the man now dog.
